HABO HEARTLANDS EASTERN CAPE

Habonim Dror’s involvement in the small centres of the Eastern Cape and nearby cities such as Plettenberg Bay and Kynsna has been steadily increasing over the past few years.

Every year, more channichim from Port Elizabeth and East London discover the magic of Habonim’s Machaneh in Onrus. Having established strong connections with channichim and parents in the Eastern Cape, we have now set up more regular Habonim events in these areas. Currently, we run two Mini-Machanot (weekend camps) in Port Elizabeth during the course of the year.
Channichim from everywhere in the Eastern Cape participate in these activities as well as in all our national events such as Winter Camp and Shorashim in July and our Hadrachah Seminars in April. We are constantly looking to reach out to new channichim and develop a strong Habonim community in the Eastern Cape.
