Johannesburg – Habonim currently runs Jewish and Zionist programmes in the King David Linksfield and Victory Park Schools. These programmes explore the deeper issues in Israel society and ask how we, as young Diaspora Jews, can make a difference. Classes are run in King David Sandton on a semi-regular basis, dealing with similar issues.

Cape Town – Guidance and Life Orientation classes are run on a regular basis for all Middle and High School children. These classes explore important and relevant issues surrounding growing up as a teenager in South Africa today – including personal gender & sex identity, samesex attraction and the media’s influence on our identity and sexuality. Classes are run in the Middle School covering both basic and more complex issues facing us as Jews and Zionists in today’s world.

Other Jewish Outreach – Habonim is also involved with the Jewish elderly, terror victims in Israel and with outreach projects in the wider Jewish community.
