Where the wild things are
Back on the Onrus campsite for six days of learning, relaxation, meeting new people, being with other madrichim your age from across the country, engaging with the movement's top leadership, campfires, spending time with the Shomrim, listening to top guest speakers, enjoying brilliant musicians, playing paintball in the bush, singing, dancing, doing things you'd never do at home, taking photos of yourself (again), eating matzah - it's over Pesach! - and every other food you can make with this delicacy, debate, learn about, love and engage with Israel, South Africa and the world, becoming brilliant madrichim and.... so much more.
Yes, it's the Bogrim One Experience.
Bogrim One is the name given to those madrichim in their first year of leading channichim. Most often, they are in their final year of schooling.
The Experience is Habonim’s ultimate training seminar. With a finely tuned tochniet (programme) that includes the highest quality leadership concepts and tools, combined with rejuvenation and relaxation on the beach and with one another – this seminar is unbeatable! (Oh, and did we mention paintball?!)
The programme includes:
- Building an understanding and appreciation of Habonim Dror
- Discussion on major issues affecting the movement
- Leadership and hadrachah training
- Informal education and activity planning
- How to manage your matric stress (partly by relaxing on the Onrus beach!)
- Exploring post-matric options, including Shnat
The focus of the seminar is hadracha (leadership) training – practical and theoretical – and other advanced concepts necessary to become a Habonim madrich.
Spend six days on Habonim’s beautiful campsite learning and devloping leadership skills and gain the mental and practical skills necessary to be the ultimate madrich/ah in Habonim.
