Habo Heartlands - Durban
Habonim continues to maintain a strong presence in this coastal city, as many participants come from KwaZulu-Natal to attend our Shorashim and Shnat programmes as well as our annual December Machaneh.
Our strong relationship with the Durban Jewish community ensures that we run Habonim events in Durban on a monthly basis. Besides the above events, our Winter Camp (which wont be happening in 2010 due to the world cup) is situated not far from the sunny Durban beaches which means that, for over seven days in July, Durban buzzes with the influx of over 250 Habonim chevre.
Our Durban team ensures that Mini Machanot and monthly activities take place for all age groups, and that the older shichavot have the chance to under-go Hadracha (leadership) training to become madrichim!
