Mazkira Klalit
Lula Pencharz 

Lula is the Mazkira Klalit for HDSA 2024. She has been a part of the movement for 11 years and is so excited to finish her journey with a year of movement work to top it all off. She is also studying psychology at wits. Habonim is something she holds dear to her heart and she is looking forward to the opportunity to give back to the movement that has added and continues to add magic and meaning to her life. A natural leader with a silly side, she is ready to take the movement in new directions. Lula is in charge of the finances of the movement and making sure it’s running smoothly. She is passionate about the space Habonim creates and can’t wait guide the movement in 2024. 

S’ganit Mazkira
Ava Cohen 

Habo has been an instrumental part of Ava’s life since the early days of Shtilim. She has a passion for social media and her role is managing April seminar and the current Shnat year.  She’s very excited to revitalise Habonim’s image.

Brad Gottschalk 

Brad has the biggest passion for Habonim and is always striving to move it forward. With a creative mindset, Brad is innovating the movement daily. He will be managing Shorashim and Cape Town runnings.

Daniel Rome 

Daniel is an economics student at Wits. He has been involved in Habo since his Sayarim machaneh and hasn’t looked back since. He takes pride in being a second generation Habonik with his dad (Gadi Rome) being involved in the 80s. He is a natural born leader in the movement. With a knack for encouragement and proactivity, he always ensures activities are occurring. He will be managing the Joburg runnings and South Africa leadership tour. Daniel is super excited to steer the movement into a new era of Habo filled with vibes, kef and gees.

S’gan Mazkira

 Sasha Rodenacker

Sasha is taking on the position of S’gan Mazkira for 2024. He has been dedicated to habo since before he can remember. He loves making sure every aspect is in place for the perfect experience. He’s managing our Budapest experiences, the campsite and Cape Town events. He is very excited to undertake this position and help grow the movement this year. From his experience going on shnat, and being on the Va’ad machaneh for 2022 and 2023 he feels confident in his abilities and is willing to dedicate this year of his life to this beloved movement. His passion and love for Habo and machaneh is boundless! Furthermore, he is committed to building up the future leaders of our community and this world.
